| Air Mail Parcel Post is the only class of mail that can be insured
(besides Express Mail). See insurance rates below. There is a minimum weight charge which varies from
country to country, but is either 1 pound or 2 pounds. The minimum charge starts at between
$9.98-$16.69. This starting rate does not include the insurance, which is additional. Delivery usually
takes 3-7 days.
Air Mail Parcel Post is best for 1) larger shipments close to or over 1
pound, 2) shipments which must be insured regardless of weight, or 3) shipments where insurance is
desired.
